The minute the gun goes you will be running towards the world heritage horse sculptures. After a run round these magnificant beasts you will head under the bridge towards the A905 where you will cross at the traffic lights and turn left and head towards the Skinflats.
Following these back roads and paths towards the Clackmannanshire Bridge you will be open to the weather gods as there is minimal cover for you to hide.
You will then loop round to the flyover
This will take you to the Clackmannanshire Bridge with another photo opportunity, look left and you will have a stunning view of the Forth and look to the right you have a view of the Kincardine Bridge.
Head towards the end of the Bridge and you will turn up the only short hill in our race (30m) and turn right towards the village of Kincardine. Taking you through this beautiful wee village and up towards the lovely Kincardine Bridge.
Once you are on the other side of this bridge you will turn under the Clackmannanshire bridge and head towards the flyover you crossed the first time around.
From here you are flat out back on the paths of the Skinflats and this time turning through the town of Skinflats before following the final stretch along the canal to the finish shute by the majestic Kelpies.
As you reach the final canal path you will see on the near horizon those magnificent Kelpies again and its a short memorable stretch as you come under the bridge and finish in front of the Kelpies.
A fantastic finish awaits you when crossing the finishing line at our athletes village.
Why would you not want to sign up to this flat, fast race, giving you the best chance to get that Half Marathon PB you have always craved!!
