The minute the gun goes you will be running towards the world heritage horse sculptures. After a run round these magnificant beasts you will head under the bridge towards the A905 where you will cross at the traffic lights and turn left and head towards the Skinflats.
Miles 0 - 5
Following these back roads and paths towards the Clackmannanshire Bridge you will be open to the weather gods as there is minimal cover for you to hide. You will then loop round to the flyover
Miles 5 - 7
This will take you to the Clackmannanshire Bridge with another photo opportunity, look left and you will have a stunning view of the Forth and look to the right you have a view of the Kincardine Bridge.
the views here are absolutely stunning.
Miles 7 - 9
Head towards the end of the Bridge and you will turn up the only short hill in our race (30m) and turn right towards the village of Kincardine. Taking you through this beautiful wee village and up towards the lovely Kincardine Bridge.
Miles 9 - 12.8
Once you are on the other side of this bridge you will turn under the Clackmannanshire bridge and head towards the flyover you crossed the first time around.
Miles 12.8 - 13.2
From here you are flat out back on the paths of the Skinflats following the same route as you did before.
The home straight you made it!
As you reach the final canal path you will see on the near horizon those magnificent Kelpies again and its a short memorable stretch as you come under the bridge and finish in front of the Kelpies.
A fantastic finish awaits you when crossing the finishing line at our athletes village.

Registration: Thursday 25th Sept 5pm till 8pm @ ForthValley College, Grangemouth Road, Falkirk, FK29AD. Friday 26th Sept 4pm till 6pm In the gazebos on the grass approaching the Kelpies. Saturday 27th Sept 07.15 to 08.15 am – In the gazebos on the grass approaching the Kelpies.
Race Start: 8.45 am, with a warm-up session at 8.40 am.
Prize Giving: 11.15 am.
Cut-off Time: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Safety: The course is well-signposted and marshalled. Please follow all safety instructions and be courteous to other path users.
Adverse Weather: The race may be rescheduled in the event of extreme weather, with your entry automatically transferred to the new date.
Refund Policy: Refunds are available on a sliding scale up to 14 days before the event. Transfers are also possible up to 30 days prior.
